Performance Health is seeking a Production Lead to join our team in Cedarburg. In this role, you will be responsible for leading team members through the process of manufacturing, assembling and packaging products and ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained at all times.

The production lead will make decisions on the planning and utilization of personnel, equipment and other resources used in production process to meet daily customer demand and production schedule requirements.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and instruct team members on emergency procedures and proper use of safety equipment
  • Ensure all regulatory and quality policies are being followed through the use of internal departmental audits and continual inspections along with initiating corrective action(s) as needed to resolve any non-conformity
  • Organize, plan and expedited work assignments to ensure customer demand and daily production goals are achieved
  • Support Management Objectives and transition team members through process and procedure changes that improve daily productivity, increase efficiency and profitability
  • Maintain knowledge of all operations within assigned departments and Identify opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency and increase productivity
  • Ensure that proper inventory levels are maintained and accurate while supporting inventory reduction initiatives
  • Train Employees to company standards and ensure all required policies and procedures are followed
  • Perform machine setup and troubleshooting as required
  • Maintain Attendance PTO/FH/Timesheets
  • Assist in the evaluation, hiring, firing and disciplinary actions of employees
  • Assist with daily operational Metrics
  • Complete and maintain auditor certification training
  • Actively participate as a team member in all phases of the production process
  • Attend all required meetings
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years' experience in manufacturing operations with previous supervisory experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Software
  • Ability to solve problems and can quickly adapt to changes on the production floor
  • Must have effective communication skills, confidence and be able to coach, influence, and motivate your team
  • Have integrity, be respectful, promote company values, and lead by example
  • Must be versatile, flexible and able to adapt to change
  • Delegate and facilitate as needed
  • Streamline conflict and conflictive employees while being fair/impartial
  • Ability to operate a fork truck

  • This is a full-time position with an hourly pay rate of $26.00 - $28.00 and the opportunity to earn bonus, plus benefits.
