Senior Hardware Project Manager

The Senior Hardware Project Manager will lead the product development efforts by coordinating all aspects of hardware development. This will involve familiarity with a gate-driven create process, understanding of the hardware development steps in various disciplines, coordination of efforts with prototype factories, and delivery to downstream teams like software development and integration and test. The role has accountability for program schedules, costs and quality deliverables.

Lead unit-level, board-level, and third-party hardware evaluations for the Space and Defense hardware team.



  • Plan and manage the hardware development work breakdown structure in alignment with the Mobile Networks Create process.
  • Collaborate with Architecture Team members to define product specifications and ensure they meet all use cases.
  • Coordinate project budgets and staffing needs, driving estimation efforts for development programs.
  • Facilitate regular coordination meetings with internal and external parties to ensure timely development milestones.
  • Provide weekly status reports on program progress during release manager meetings and to upper management.
  • Engage with Nokia Supply Chain representatives to oversee material acquisition and prototype assembly processes.
  • Ensure compliance with hardware requirements and successfully lead product launches into production.



You have:



  • US Citizenship or valid Green Card
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • 15+ years of experience in hardware project management from concept to production
  • Proven experience in managing customer and partner/vendor relationships


It would be nice if you also had:



  • Expertise in mechanical design and thermal modeling
  • Familiarity with safety and regulatory testing processes
  • Strong analytical skills for risk assessment and product quality metrics
  • Experience in coordination across diverse engineering disciplines
