Introduction

The Commonwealth's Attorney is one of five constitutional officers in the Loudoun County government. The primary function of the office is to investigate and prosecute felony, misdemeanor, traffic, and juvenile criminal cases in concert with local and federal law enforcement agencies, as well as complaints from private citizens.


Job Summary

The Project Manager will work with the County's SART coordination team and other County stakeholders to support a specialized Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) program.

Under supervision, this position may develop and implement a shared strategic plan to fill gaps in prevention and education programs related to sexual violence, with a special emphasis targeting underserved and high-risk regions for sexual violence in Loudoun's two identified Qualified Opportunity Zones and rural areas. This position will also identify, recommend, and oversee data collection systems and develop reports for use in funding requests. The successful candidate will be proficient in theory, principles, and practices of policy development and compliance activities. The project manager will assist the organization in meeting project deadlines and managing overall organizational goals.

The successful incumbent will actively participate in staff committees or task forces focused on education, prevention, protection and prosecution services for victims of sexual violence. The position will also develop and maintain positive professional relationships with local law enforcement and with local, state, and federal governments and community agencies that serve our client population.

Applicants must effectively communicate and motivate others and work collaboratively with diverse groups of people with varying perspectives, experience and expertise to create and implement County wide programs and policies in coordination with the SART committee for the betterment of the community.

Hiring salary is commensurate with experience




Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field; three (3) years of related work experience preferably working in IT project management, or equivalent; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
