Location: Barrington Office (Barrington, IL)

Schedule: Full-Time Position / Onsite 5 days a week

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a diligent accounting clerk to join our accounting department. This person is responsible for summarizing and analyzing accounting transactions, providing financial management reports and ensuring compliance with internal controls.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain general ledger accounts, financial reports and records.
• Prepare daily journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assist with monthly close process.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations.
• Work with Project Accountants to close out construction jobs using FFP information.
• Respond to information requests and prepare schedules for the year-end audit.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Demonstrated ability to analyze issues and recommend solutions
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Fluency in accounting systems and excel

This position's target hiring hourly range is $24 - $29. The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as location, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, internal equity, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified. Roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
