Job Description:

Our Aircraft Maintenance Team is growing!

The team takes pride in caring for our aircrafts that transports our customers and employees across the globe. We are looking for an individual who takes pride in his/her work and looking to be a continuous learner in the industry.

The aircraft maintenance apprenticeship involves gaining hands-on experience and knowledge to become an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) mechanic under the guidance of experienced professionals, ultimately preparing apprentices for FAA certification. Candidate will report to the Supervisor of Aircraft Maintenance and the Senior Aircraft Technician when directed.

Duties Include:
* Assisting experienced mechanics: Apprentices assist with routine and non-routine maintenance tasks.
* Learning aircraft systems: Gaining knowledge about aircraft structures, engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and more.
* Troubleshooting: Identifying and diagnosing problems on aircraft.
* Inspecting and Repairing: Performing inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on various aircraft types and components.
* Documentation: Learning to document maintenance and repair work. At no time will the apprentice be signing off any maintenance performed. This is a licensed technician's responsibility only.
* Perform ancillary functions relative to the operation of the Rite-Hite aircraft fleet including towing aircraft, aircraft cleaning, fueling, hangar duties, and security.

Location:

* Role will function onsite at the Rite-Hite hanger at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport.

Hours:

* This is not a standard schedule but dictated by the weekly flight schedule.
