which medical students may develop personally and professionally, and to maintain records of students' accomplishments toward their medical school requirements. |
Job Duties |
The Brody School of Medicine Student Affairs' office is currently seeking to hire a full-time Student Services Specialist to join their team.
The primary duties of this position are:
- Coordinate student scheduling for medical student clinical coursework at both the Brody School of Medicine and outside rotation sites, including universities and international programs;
- Supervise the unit's Clinical Support Coordinator position;
- Communicate information by various media (phone, meetings, email, website, classroom presentations) with individual students, classes, staff and faculty both inside and outside of the Brody School of Medicine and East Carolina University;
- Areas of expertise include - student credentialing, training verifications, evaluations, affiliation agreements between clinical entities and national board examinations.

Minimum Education/Experience |
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. |
License or Certification required by statute or regulation |

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education |
- Previous experience in student services at the collegiate level;
- Previous project management experience;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and databases.
