Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of skilled professionals to safely deliver production targets.
  • Championing a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborating across departments to optimize plant performance and reliability.
  • Driving safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in all aspects of operations.
  • Ensuring all work is undertaken in accordance with Rio Tinto's operating procedures
  • Fostering a culture of zero harm and continuous improvement

About You:

To be successful in this role you will have the following:

  • High School diploma
  • Proven experience in production, plant operations or maintenance leadership, ideally in mining or heavy industry.
  • A strong track record of delivering results through people and process improvement.
  • A passion for safety, teamwork, and making work fun.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
