Responsibilities
The individual selected for this position will support the Sponsor's Program Management Office responsible for providing a unified decision-making approach to reduce risk across the Sponsor's Internet activities. This includes providing governance support, requirements triage, facilitation, and other types of Systems Integration support. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide technical, consulting, facilitation, and administrative support to the Sponsor component's governance processes and boards.
- Manage technical exchange meetings and support ongoing collection and analysis/triage of requirements.
- Communicate and document internet risk management, diversification, tradecraft, and capabilities to Senior Stakeholders and Senior Board Members.
- Assist in the creation, coordination, and business process management of governance boards to include maintenance of policies, decision-making structures, charters, etc.
- Track and manage action items and meeting minutes, and generate quarterly/yearly reports, as required.
- Define and capture requirements by interacting with stakeholders and subsequently conducting independent research and analysis of information in preparation for meetings; seeking information from personnel within the supported principal's organization or appropriate external stakeholders to provide background information the principal will require for meetings and other engagements. Follow up to ensure material is ready for review in advance of the meetings.
- Create and maintain Sponsor's content for branding/messaging of board and governance activities.
- Update, maintain, and operate current information in a centralized repository and website wherever content is hosted.
- Plan and coordinate program management process activities and leverage experience to recommend efficiencies and/or streamlining, to include developing standard operating procedures, and associated documentation.
- Develop schedule version control processes, policies, and procedures, and ensure that they are followed.
- Work in collaboration with the Sponsor Program Manager and stakeholders to drive consistency of the project scheduling approach to facilitate accuracy in project reporting.
- Assist the Sponsor Program Manager with evaluating schedule impacts and establishing formal PMR documentation and meetings.
Qualifications
- Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- A degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline.
- BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7
- Experience with executive level engagements and communications; meetings, briefings, written and interpersonal communications, etc.; to include creating and providing briefings/presentations, planning and facilitating meetings and providing support for technical documentation.
- Proven ability to multi-task and perform independently; proactive, self-starter.
- Ability to operate/navigate in ambiguous situations; to include the ability to put plans in place, lead those plans and ensure progress and completion.
- Critical thinking skills sufficient to make sound and timely recommendations in unique situations, considering alternate actions.
- Process oriented, conceptually driven, and possess the ability to work collaboratively across organizational boundaries and with various employee levels (to include Senior Executive Leaders).
- Demonstrated expertise in supporting complex organizations and fast-paced operational environment.
- Demonstrated on-the-job experience coordinating and working action items to completion.
- Organizational, collaboration, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively complete tasks.
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior experience with the customer's domain to include enterprise IT and/or mission support.
- Working knowledge of Sponsor's mission and other stakeholder's missions.
- Demonstrated experience of supporting internet operations for the Sponsor and the Intelligence Community.
- Three or more years of experience directly supporting the customer.
