Job Description

The position is responsible for the management and development of best practices procedures, processes, and service standards for the issuance and ongoing administration of the business. The incumbent is responsible for the administration of products/plans sold by the Ameritas field offices, and implements and administers products/plans sold through special distribution arrangements and Strategic Alliances. The incumbent also leads and manages the operational processes involved in implementing systems/programs.

Position Location: This is a hybrid role working partially in-office and partially from home.

What you do:



  • Leads a high performing team through recruitment, development, and performance management.
  • Provides guidance to resolve escalated issues or concerns.
  • Ensures adherence to regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Recommends innovative programs or processes to achieve results.
  • Coaches and develops associates to foster a culture that ensures a cohesive team environment that will build long term loyalty between Ameritas/Partners and our customers by achieving and/or exceeding department standards and persistent goals.
  • Manages systems, associates, and processes impacted by the systems staff and ensures customer service standards are established and met. Models a "best practices" leadership style that empowers and motivates associates to be decisive and take appropriate risks in providing a high level of service that builds loyal customers and partners.
  • Exhibits a good understanding of all the functional areas within the division and their needs. This includes the possessing the knowledge of strategic alliances, partnerships, and key account requirements that must be met by this operational area.
  • Ensures quality control measures, reporting, workflow processes, and procedures are in place to ensure performance guarantees/standards of accuracy and responsiveness requirements are being met or exceeded to foster customer loyalty.
  • Provides critical decision making in escalated customer service issues by taking into consideration the needs of the customer and potential risk to the company.
  • Manages various projects and provides input to products, processes, and standards with measurable impact.


What you bring:



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • 3-5 years of related experience is required.
  • 0-2 years supervisory experience is required.

About this Position's Pay
The pay range posted reflects a nationwide minimum to maximum covering all potential locations where the position may be filled. The final determination on pay for any position will be based on multiple factors including role, career level, work location, skill set, and candidate level of experience to ensure pay equity within the organization. This position will be eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits package (see above for details). This position will be eligible to participate in our Short-Term Incentive Plan with the annual target defined by the plan.
