Product Manager, Global Data Delivery Platforms

Job Purpose

ICE Data Connectivity and Feeds, Inc., a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange Inc., is seeking an experienced Product Manager with a strong technical background to join the Enterprise Platform team in its Atlanta Headquarters. This role is part of a global team based in London, New York, and Chicago, and the successful candidate will work closely with colleagues to develop and execute strategies that enhance the API, File, and Data Share platform capabilities.

In this position, the Product Manager will have a specific focus on the development of cross platform standards (for example commercial usage reporting, and), as well as development of zero-footprint APIs and Access Methods. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define, prioritize, and deliver new strategic capabilities, and enhancements to existing capabilities across the technical platform remit. To excel in this role, the candidate should be highly technical, with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, an expert in extracting information and value from data, and skilled at ideation, documentation, and wireframing of solutions to problems.

Our platforms are responsible for delivering mission-critical financial market data to global clients across a broad set of industry segments, including risk, regulatory compliance, asset management, and algorithmic trading. This strategic position is responsible for ownership of business-critical platforms and the successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the future of these platforms, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our clients and drive business growth for ICE.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute technical strategies for API, File, and data share platforms
• Own the creation of cross platform standards documentation, success measurements and tools and implementation roadmaps
• Collaborate with sales and stakeholders to identify opportunities and build business cases
• Analyze market trends and client feedback to enhance products and drive innovation
• Design user experiences that align with business goals and ensure scalability
• Prioritize projects and manage resources efficiently across development, QA, and operations
• Develop and champion process improvements and workflow automation initiatives.
• Drive information gathering, scoping, planning, and training sessions with stakeholders

Knowledge and Experience

Technical Skills

• Intermediate level experience in Java, .NET, HTML, Javascript or other Front End Application Development Framework . We are not looking for a developer, but someone who can understand the flow of code, and is able to build demonstrations and prototypes
• A solid understanding of zero footprint, web technologies and communication protocols
• Strong knowledge of Python for scripting, data analysis, and data manipulation

Business Acumen

• Strong understanding of market data systems, governance, and entitlements
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Knowledge and awareness of Market Trends

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and process management in dynamic environments
• Comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience working in roles that combine technology implementation, planning, and transformation

Education and Technical Knowledge:

• Understanding of data storage, data modeling, data structures, and common query languages
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
