Staffmark is now hiring a Non-CDL Yard Driver (Switcher) in North Charleston, SC for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a respected logistics leader. If you've got at least one year of recent yard jockey experience and a clean driving record, this is your chance to get behind the wheel and stay close to home.

Pay & Schedule:

Pay: $22.25/hour + overtime after 40 hours

Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday | 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM

Home Daily | No Touch Freight

Job Overview:



  • Operate a yard switcher to move trailers between docks and staging areas
  • Support yard management with trailer positioning and coordination
  • Ensure safe maneuvering and spotting procedures
  • Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and yard safety guidelines



Requirements:



  • Minimum 1 year of yard switcher experience within the last 3 years
  • Valid DOT Medical Card
  • Clean MVR - no more than 3 violations or accidents in the last 3 years
  • Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings
