Staffmark is now hiring a Class A CDL Driver in Charlotte, NC for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a respected packaging solutions company. If you're ready to trade long-hauls for local runs and want consistent weekday hours, this role is for you!

Hours & Pay:

Hourly Pay: $23.00/hour + overtime after 40 hours

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM start, 9-12 hour days

Employment Type: Temp-to-hire

Home Daily | Local Routes Only

Job Duties:

• Operate Class A equipment to transport packaging materials
• Load your truck using a forklift
• Deliver freight to customer locations-primarily no-touch, but may assist when needed using a manual pallet jack
• Follow all DOT safety procedures and company protocols
• Perform pre-and post-trip inspections
• Represent the company professionally with strong customer service at drop-off locations

Requirements:

• 1 year of Class A driving experience in the past 3 years
• Valid CDL-A license, DOT Medical Card, and FMCSA Clearinghouse registration
• No more than 3 combined violations or accidents in the last 3 years
• Must pass pre-employment screenings and have a solid PSP report
• Auto-only transmission experience is acceptable
• Comfortable with basic forklift and pallet jack operations
