Summary

Maintain the plant Manufacturing quality systems. In this role the Quality Assurance Manager will also receive strategic direction on additional areas to develop, establish, and implement quality assurance standards and measures for overall quality and food safety within the organization. This role has a responsibility for ensuring both food safety and quality of Chobani product.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with management to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, standards, and Company policies, and ensure plant is always inspection ready
  • Leads and directs the work of the Quality Assurance Supervisors
  • Lead investigations to resolve root cause, corrective/preventive actions, and appropriate coordination/leadership of process improvements
  • Create methodologies and processes for the collection and analysis of data ensuring accuracy and reliability for overall product quality evaluation
  • Train, coach, and mentor QA staff; plan and conduct performance appraisals of QA staff, interview, hire, and administer disciplinary action as necessary
  • Develop laboratory SOPs, GMP systems, and help establish sanitary systems
  • Conduct internal audits to measure and assure adherence to established QA standards for software development, application integration, and information system performance and corresponding documentation
  • Follow Chobani's safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-7 years of quality assurance experience within the food safety industry, in the dairy preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience or minimum 4 years in a leadership position
  • Strong leadership, training, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal and presentation skills to get results
  • Serve as back up in the absence of Quality Assurance Supervisor and Director of Quality Food Safety

Compensation Range:$94,000.00-$141,000.00, plus bonus.
