Provide leadership, support, and vision during the process of acquiring and placing applicants to meet the staffing needs of the company and shares responsibility for reducing turnover within the company by staffing positions with quality candidates that meet the criteria of the positions. Previous military, information technology, healthcare experience preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Recruiter Cherokee Federal: Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Cherokee Federal Recruiter Responsibilities Include:

  • Drive Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage end-to-end hiring-from sourcing to offer acceptance-ensuring a seamless candidate experience and alignment with hiring goals.
  • Source Top Talent: Utilize advanced sourcing techniques (networking, referrals, online platforms) to identify qualified, cleared, and culturally aligned candidates.
  • Partner Strategically with Hiring Managers: Develop targeted recruiting plans that reflect business needs and workforce trends.
  • Champion Compliance & Quality: Maintain strict adherence to federal hiring regulations, EEO/AA, and Native American preference policies while emphasizing hiring integrity.
  • Optimize Systems & Processes: Leverage ATS tools to track metrics, ensure data integrity, and support process improvements that accelerate hiring timelines.
  • Support Pre-Employment & Onboarding: Coordinate background checks, reference checks, and interview logistics to ensure readiness and compliance.
  • Influence Compensation Decisions: Align offers with market benchmarks to secure top talent while respecting budget considerations.
  • Monitor Labor Market Trends: Analyze geographic and industry-specific data to recommend strategic staffing initiatives.
  • Foster Candidate Engagement: Guide candidates through every step of the hiring journey to improve conversion and reduce turnover.

Recruiter Cherokee Federal Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • 5+ Years of Recruiting Success: Proven ability to meet hiring goals in fast-paced, metrics-driven environments.
  • Federal Talent Acquisition Expertise: Deep knowledge of DoD/IC hiring practices, cleared talent sourcing, and compliance standards. Information Technology, Military, or healthcare recruiting experience a plus.
  • Tech-Savvy Recruiter: Skilled in enterprise-level ATS/CRM platforms with strong focus on data accuracy and candidate tracking.
  • Strategic Sourcing & Engagement: Adept in both active and passive recruiting strategies-leveraging networks, referrals, and talent communities to build high-quality pipelines.
  • Regulatory & Compensation Know-How: Strong understanding of federal contracting rules, employment regulations, and salary benchmarking.
  • Effective Communicator: Craft compelling job postings, deliver persuasive outreach, and clearly articulate value propositions to candidates and stakeholders.
  • Organized & Responsive: Strong time management, prioritization, and follow-through across multiple concurrent roles.
