Position Title: Assembly
Wage: $15.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am-2:00pm (Mon-Fri, overtime as needed) QPS Employment Group has a great Assembly position available at a company in Keosauqua, IA. This is a 1st position with the opportunity for hire. Assembly Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Always visually inspect metal for imperfections. - Assemble kits for refrigeration units. - Assemble refrigeration units per quality standards and work order instructions. - Performs any assembly-type function, using hand or power tools. - Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or fasteners. - Utilize electrical testing equipment. - Work at a different work stations as production needs required. - Identify parts used on their assigned product line, and their placement location on the product itself. - Maintain work area in clean, safe and orderly manner. - Read blueprints, schematic drawings to determine location, size, capacity and type of components needed. - Cut bend, braze specified tubing to inlets and outlets of components to form liquid and suction lines of refrigeration systems. - Remove air from system and charges system with specified amount and type of refrigerant. - Conduct pre-startup check on all equipment. - Read and follow written and verbal instructions. Assembly Requirements: - Must be able to lift 30 lbs. throughout shift. - Must be able to work in a hot environment. - Must be able to work lying down, standing, or while sitting. - Must be able to complete fast paced hand eye movements. - Previous experience in electrical, carpentry, or refrigeration types of work a plus. - The ability to read blueprints or a work order is required. - Basic skills of hand held power tools and measurement devices. - Ability to write and verbally communicate with other employees and supervisor. fairfield@qpsemployment.com IND069 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
