Position Purpose
The Marketing Associate role exists to ensure Capital Bank's marketing team can execute at scale while staying focused on what matters most-driving business growth. As a key support to the commercial marketing team, this position helps turn strategy into action by coordinating campaigns, aligning cross-functional partners, and ensuring every initiative is executed with precision and tracked for impact.

Position Responsibilities



  • Campaign Support & Execution

    • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, with a focus on driving growth in strategic vertical segments and government-guaranteed lending (SBA and USDA)
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of campaign assets
    • Draft and proof marketing content, including email copy, social media posts, and website updates
    • Partner with compliance to ensure all materials meet regulatory and brand standards
    • Support post-campaign analysis by tracking performance and reporting results to stakeholders




  • Digital Marketing & Content Coordination

    • Update and maintain website content under guidance from the marketing team
    • Manage marketing calendars and timelines to keep projects on track
    • Contribute timely, relevant ideas to increase campaign effectiveness
    • Repurpose content across platforms to maximize reach and consistency
    • Assist with analytics tracking and light reporting on campaign performance




  • Project Support & Team Collaboration

    • Participate in project meetings and take ownership of assigned tasks with support from the VP, Commercial Product and Marketing Team Lead
    • Partner with design, compliance, and product teams to move work through the pipeline efficiently
    • Contribute to the development of sales enablement materials like FAQs, one-pagers, and presentation decks
    • Help manage internal templates and maintain consistency across marketing assets




  • Learning & Development

    • Conduct research on industry trends, vertical market opportunities, marketing innovations, and emerging technologies, such as AI to help inform strategy and streamline campaign execution
    • Stay current on tools, platforms, and best practices relevant to financial marketing
    • Participate in regular coaching and feedback sessions focused on building confidence, ownership, and sound decision-making
    • Contribute to process improvements and team optimization as we scale





Education & Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in a marketing support role
  • Financial services or B2B experience a plus but not required



Technical Knowledge and Skills



  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Familiarity with digital platforms (WordPress, email tools, social media scheduling, CRM a plus)
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Curious mindset, not being afraid to understand the "Why" behind everything we do

Compensation



  • Base Salary Range: Final determination of where you are at in the salary range is based on numerous factors such as relevant experience, skill set, education, and ability to meet qualifications within the job description.
  • Additional Compensation: This role will include a yearly annual target bonus based on individual performance.
