Staffmark is now hiring an experienced Assembly Line Leader for a temp-to-hire opportunity in North Kingstown, RI. Pay & Schedule:

Pay Rate: $21.00/hour

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Thursday | 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Daily Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals
• Identify and resolve material or capacity constraints
• Lead daily production meetings and track/report metrics
• Verify proper components and labels are used per the Bill of Materials
• Complete ERP system transactions to reflect accurate material movement
• Support accurate inventory through regular cycle counts
• Ensure team compliance with safety and operational procedures
• Assist with training, coaching, and performance reviews of production staff
• Collaborate with engineering on prototypes and new product development

What You Bring:

• 5-10 years' experience in a manufacturing environment with team leadership responsibilities
• 2 years of experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT equipment)
• 1-3 years' experience with PCB soldering and conformal coating machines
• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with ERP/inventory software (Mapics a plus)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, reaching, and bending
