Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager will work with the Purchasing, Manufacturing, Project Manager(s) and Superintendent(s) to coordinate deliveries, flow of material in and out of the warehouse, and enter related data for each respective task.

DUTIES & SCOPE:

• Enter data on received material
• Always keep operation of the warehouse and office organized.
• Manage the reception of goods that will be stored in the warehouse. Notify recipient of incoming deliveries.
• Sort the items placing them in the appropriate and safe locations, considering temperature, size, weight, available space, and light exposure.
• Prepare the shipments and help with loading the outgoing items on trucks.
• Maintain and follow the safety protocols for all workers and equipment.
• Communicate with partners to determine the incoming and outgoing times of the new items, while efficiently managing space and inventory.
• Oversee cleaning company and ensure offices and restrooms are clean and free of debris. Also, ensure all cleaning supplies and office supplies are inventoried every week.
• Oversee facility management (repairs, organization, trash area where dumpsters are located, and entry of lobby area is free of debris)
• Maintain, inventory on all PPE and coordinate with operations team when additional supplies are needed.
• Visit jobsites when requested and/or needed.
• Ensure to abide by all Helix Electric's driving policies. Seat belts must be always worn vehicles and equipment.
• Ensure deliveries of material to jobsites when approved by the operation department.
• Assist with training set up of classroom tables, golf events as needed.
• No OT unless approved by VP or PX

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in shipping/receiving
• Be able to communicate effectively through both written and verbal communication
• Proficiency of Microsoft Office applications
• Following all safety policies, processes, and instructions so that work is carried out in a safe and consistent manner.
• Ability to lift 50lbs, walk and stand for long periods of time
• Good work ethic with emphasis on integrity and ability to keep high level of productivity with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail
• Strong time management and customer service skills
• Good planning, organization, and teamwork skills

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $60,000.00 and $80,000.00 per year. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: location, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for bonus and benefits.
