Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

  • Hours: Per Diem Days; M-F 8 am - 4:30 pm

General Summary:

Outpatient Clinic:

In the Outpatient Clinic, the Wound Care Registered Nurse provides direct care for Wound Care Center patients under the direction of the Clinical Manager and the Provider working in the clinic. Working autonomously, and in a team-environment, the RN accepts responsibility and accountability for assigned patients, as a case manager, to plan, implement and evaluate the care for patients.

What you will do:

  • Assess and evaluatepatients with acute or chronic wounds
  • Assess and evaluate patients with ostomies
  • Initiate treatments as ordered by the provider; including advanced modalities such as skin substitutes and negative pressure wound therapy
  • Collaborate with other health care providers as part of a team toensure appropriate plan of care
  • Engage in case management for continuity of care for the patient
  • Participate in quality improvement projects

What you will need:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Registered Nurse with current state license in good standing
  • One (1) year prior experience in an acute care setting
  • Wound Care Certification is preferred or direct, relevant clinical experience required.
  • Experience in ambulatory care desirable
  • American Heart Association BLS Certification
  • Able to complete a two-person lift to examination chair
