Job Summary Works with Cardiology physicians, clinicians, providers and administration to provide support to patients undergoing rhythm diagnosis or patients that have been diagnosed with cardiac rhythm problem and need or have already have a permanent pacemaker (PPM) or defibrillator (ICD)device implanted. Coordinate daily functions of the PPM and ICD clinic(s) by performing device checks in the office or over the phone to ensure device function is within recommended parameters as prescribed by the attending / implanting Cardiologist or Electrophysiologist, and reprograms devices accordingly. Collaborates with Cardiologist or Electrophysiologist on the device and its place in the patient's total treatment plan. Also, applies and interprets monitoring via telephone, remote telemetry or in the office as ordered by the Cardiologist or Electrophysiologist for patients undergoing diagnostic testing of cardiac rhythms.Essential Functions
