We have an opening for a strategic and results-driven Senior Manager, Technology Sourcing.

The Senior Manager, Technology Sourcing will lead sourcing initiatives across hardware, software, SaaS, telecom, cloud services, security, technology innovation and IT professional services. This role will be responsible for building and executing sourcing strategies, negotiating complex contracts, driving cost optimization and value creation across our global technology spend. The successful candidate will have outstanding communication and relationship skills with proven experience in developing strong business partnerships and the ability to sell the overall procurement value proposition.

In this capacity, the Senior Manager, Technology Sourcing will:

  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and lead sourcing strategies for technology categories, including IT infrastructure, SaaS, cloud services (IaaS/PaaS), software licensing, cybersecurity, technology innovation and professional IT services. Must have experience negotiating complex agreements for enterprise business applications ie; Microsoft, Salesforce, IBM, Oracle etc.);
  • Category Management: Own category planning and spend analysis, drive supplier consolidation, and develop multi-year roadmaps in alignment with IT and business objectives;
  • Supplier Management: Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and ongoing performance management. Establish KPIs, service level agreements (SLAs), and continuous improvement processes;
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate commercial and legal terms with suppliers in partnership with Legal, Finance, and IT stakeholders to ensure compliance, risk mitigation, and favorable pricing;
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with IT, Finance, Legal, Security, and business leaders to understand requirements and align sourcing strategies with organizational priorities;
  • Process Optimization: Improve sourcing processes, contract lifecycle management, and supplier onboarding practices to increase efficiency and control; and
  • Market Intelligence: Stay current on technology trends, market shifts, and supplier innovations to provide informed sourcing guidance and recommendations.

Proficiencies:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills;
  • Experience in a global or matrixed organization; and
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, data privacy) as they relate to IT procurement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or related field (MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred);
  • At least 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or vendor management, with a focus on IT and technology categories;
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale technology sourcing initiatives and complex negotiations;
  • Deep understanding of technology licensing models (e.g., SaaS, cloud consumption, perpetual vs. subscription);
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to partner effectively across technical and non-technical functions; and
  • Experience with contract management and procurement tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, ServiceNow).
