Utz Brands, a subsidiary of Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow our loyal, career driven, and customer focused team, and is currently recruiting for a Lineperson to work from our manufacturing facility located in Goodyear, AZ on 2nd Shift. As a Lineperson, the candidate is responsible for moving product from the packing area to the warehouse, they also assist in preparing lines at the beginning of the shift and during changes in product being packaged. This position works on dayshift from Monday-Friday 3pm - 11pm and some Saturdays as needed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: other duties may be assigned. Assist with moving product and materials from packing area to warehouse by pulling jacks filled with product. Scans finished product into inventory with use of scanning equipment. Maintaining GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices). Maintaining a positive attitude and integrity always. Completes all Palletizing functions in accordance with established quality, packaging and palletizing standards. Communicates with Packers, PMO's, Quality Assurance, Dock Operators and Supervision. Visually inspects finished product and cases. Recognizes finished cases quality issues. Ensures work area is kept clean and well-maintained. Perform shutdown and startup procedures. Perform daily, weekly and monthly sanitation tasks. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Ability to operate a pallet jack. Forklift certification or ability to obtain and hold a forklift license. Experience working in food processing facility preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under constant pressure of production line environment. Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.
