Overview

A Post doctoral opportunity is available at Clarkson University in the Clarkson Center for Complex Systems, under the direction of Professor Erik Bollt, W. Jon Harrington 77' Professor in Mathematics and Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Desirable skills and knowledge include some of,
-Dynamical systems,
-Data-driven methods for science and engineering,
-Machine learning,
-Information theory,
-Programming at least in Matlab and/or Python.

A prior subset of these skills are expected and the rest we will study and build as we go. A PhD in mathematics, physics, electrical and computer engineering, computer science or related is expected. The post doctoral candidate is expect to become a vibrant member of our lively Clarkson Center for Complex Systems, advance their own skills and cooperate with other post docs and students in advancing their skills and enjoyment along with the underlying science.
