Test Engineer - Systems
Overview Experienced candidate will be responsible for providing the Navy Customer with Configuration Management (CM) services for OHIO SSBN/SSGN Class Non-Propulsion Electronic System (NPES) Alterations. Selected candidate will be responsible for review of Engineering Changes (EC), Temporary ECs, and Software Updates (SU) to ensure accuracy of the CM data and compliance with OHIO Class requirements; hardware configuration audits; software configuration inspections; and maintenance of Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) records in government databases. Selected candidate must regularly interface with EB System Engineering, Planning Yard, Program Acquisition Resource Managers (PARM), alteration developers and the Navy Customer to resolve or better understand CM issues. Selected candidate will participate in technical and programmatic meetings requiring local travel and occasional off-site travel. Work location is at EB's Newport Engineering Office and onsite at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport. Qualifications Required:
4-10 years of Configuration Management (CM) experience
