RSM is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Manager to join our growing Management Consulting Advisory practice. This role is ideal for a candidate with deep experience in developing and executing value creation plans, including experience with identifying and quantifying pre-close synergies and cost savings, and development of estimated one-time cost schedules. You will lead cross-functional initiatives that drive value creation through strategic integration planning, execution, and synergy capture across people, processes, and technology.

We are looking for a strategic leader who can shape integration strategy, influence executive stakeholders, and deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead integration strategy and execution for M&A transactions, carve-outs, and enterprise transformations
  • Identify and quantify synergy opportunities across functions including supply chain, operations, finance, IT, HR, sales, marketing, merchandising, tax, and legal
  • Develop and validate value creation plans, synergy models, business cases, and financial tracking mechanisms.
  • Design and implement integration governance structures, communication plans, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with client executives and internal teams to align integration activities with long-term strategic goals
  • Create value capture playbooks, toolkits, and repeatable frameworks for future engagements.
  • Present integration progress, synergy realization, and KPIs to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
  • Resolve cross-functional interdependencies and ensure accountability across workstreams
  • Develop industry specialization and drive targeting, marketing, and training activities within industry
  • Build client relationships and deliver quality client services. Oversee and drive multiple concurrent projects to completion and assist our clients uncover additional areas of opportunity and manage the business development process.
  • Provide mentoring and motivate diverse client engagement teams by delivering constructive on-the-job coaching to team members, while fostering an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Strategy, Finance, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in M&A integration, corporate strategy, management consulting, or enterprise transformation
  • Experience in consumer products and/or industrials industries
  • Experience within our core industry focus: consumer goods, food and beverage, industrials and manufacturing
  • Proven track record leading post-merger integrations or large-scale strategic initiatives.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in synergy modeling and value capture
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level presentation experience
  • Deep cross-functional business acumen-especially in consumer goods, food & beverage, industrials, or manufacturing
  • Experience with change management, organizational design, or ERP transformation is a plus
  • Ability to travel 50%

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $107,000 - $214,500

Individualsselected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
