We have an exciting opportunity for aFire Protection Service Manager located in Des Moines, IA . How you will contribute: As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for service operations within the Des Moines and Central Iowa areas including meeting specific sales, profitability and new business goals. Leverage your customer service and relationship management skills by ensuring that all service work and service inspections are being performed properly and in a manner that exceeds customer expectations; including oversight of service staff, problem resolution, scoping challenges, and timelines. You will collaborate with the Service team to review current work and strategize how to acquire new customers. Managing customer accounts and building Ahern's customer base along with responding to existing customer inquiries or concerns are key in this role. You will also conduct frequent customer visits in order to ensure progress on projects and identify issues and challenges. You will also review and assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports related to service. Work will be performed in a fast-paced work environment and you will be challenged to excel beyond your expectations in a team-oriented, results driven environment. What you need to qualify: Ahern will help make the most of your Associate's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years' experience in the construction or fire protection industry, with preference given to candidates with prior service environment experience.
