Job Description:

Dynamo Technologies LLC is seeking a Senior Operations Analyst to support the U.S. Army Project Manager Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PM PNT) under the Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) Support Services contract. The Operations Analyst will provide advanced analytical, statistical, and data modeling support to improve supply chain performance, logistics management, and decision-making capabilities. This role requires deep experience with data systems, supply chain analytics, and modeling tools. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities and experience applying operations research methods to real-world challenges in the defense logistics environment.

This position is on-site in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Duties/ Responsibilities:



  • Provide expert analysis of Army supply chain processes to identify opportunities for improved cost, time, and logistical performance.
  • Develop and apply mathematical modeling, optimization techniques, and decision-support tools for sustainment and supply chain management.
  • Collect, analyze, and transform raw data from legacy and current Army supply systems (e.g., LMP, GCSS-Army) for operational and strategic use.
  • Maintain, update, and manage analytical tools and reporting systems to track asset visibility, readiness, and supply performance.
  • Conduct system-level process reviews and recommend changes to Army logistics systems logic and procedures.
  • Provide forecasting and sensitivity analysis support for budget and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) development.
  • Support Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) efforts including reporting, reconciliation, and audit response preparation.
  • Perform variance analysis and implement corrective recommendations in coordination with Government Functional Managers.
  • Contribute to system development and modernization efforts, including logistics automation and system integration support.
  • Conduct performance analysis and contribute to Army supply improvement initiatives by building charts, tracking metrics, and analyzing trends.


Required Skills/Abilities:



  • Extensive experience working in U.S. Army supply chain processes, including tactical and strategic-level supply operations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in operations research methodologies, data analytics, and logistics modeling.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint) and data management tools.
  • Skilled in querying and troubleshooting Army logistics systems (e.g., LMP, GCSS-Army).
  • Proven ability to develop, justify, and manage system change requests, discrepancy reports, and testing outcomes.
  • Experience analyzing budget and supply chain data to develop models and decision support tools.
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills to prepare reports, briefings, and audit documentation.
  • Capable of working independently on high-visibility and mission-critical tasks.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to support leadership briefings and stakeholder engagement.
  • U.S. Citizenship required


Nice-to-Have Skills:



  • Experience with Army logistics and legacy systems such as SARSS, PBUSE, and ULLS. Familiarity with Army Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) initiatives and audit remediation processes.
  • Working knowledge of supply discrepancy reporting systems and processes (e.g., SDR, PDREP).
  • Experience with Army logistics modernization systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms (e.g., LMP, AESIP).
  • Prior involvement with Army Working Capital Fund or Army Materiel Command (AMC) sustainment operations.
  • Understanding of statistical process control (SPC) tools and advanced forecasting techniques.
  • Experience supporting Army continuous process improvement or Lean Six Sigma logistics initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Army and DoD policies and procedures related to logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Familiarity with system lifecycle support, discrepancy reporting, and integration testing.


Education and Experience:



  • Master's degree in mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in operations research, logistics, or supply chain analysis.
  • Experience with government logistics systems, audits, and program evaluation.
