TITLE: Senior Marketing Data Analyst

Location: 560 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA 94105; Must live within reasonable commuting distance from HQ and able to appear in office as required.

Salary: $116,200.00 - $174,300.00/year

Job Description: Partner with business leaders, staff clinicians, utilization management, network development, provider services, product development, and marketing departments to identify business challenges, formulate a data plan, drive the insights, and develop solutions to enable the business teams to perform at the highest levels. Execute complex marketing and business data analysis using multiple data sources to achieve quantifiable results that will impact either business units or enterprise business processes. Provide support to our Segment Strategy, Integrated Marketing, Sales, Network Development, and Product Strategy teams by identifying growth opportunities, evaluating market opportunities, assessing business performance, and conducting predictive marketing and business analytics. Manage end-to-end marketing and business analytics project planning, execution, testing, and insights delivery to foster data-driven decision-making by analyzing market data, sales activity, network depth and breadth, network financial, and segment performance trends to identify and help the business focus. Must live within reasonable commuting distance from HQ and able to appear in office as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Advanced proficiency utilizing MS SQL Server to transform, analyze and extract data from large, disparate databases.
  2. Data visualization: expertise designing and building Tableau dashboards to visualize and report on trends and relationships in our data;
  3. Data querying from data warehouses, data analytics, and developing and communicating insights for analyses;
  4. Advanced knowledge and practical experience applying statistical methodologies including A/B testing, and linear & logistic regression;
  5. Utilizing Python to join data from disparate sources and prepare data for analysis in a methodical and repeatable manner and to leverage statistical concepts and methodologies to determine relationships and trends in datasets relevant to established analysis goals;
  6. Expertise applying data analytics and statistical analysis methods for the purpose of driving marketing strategy in a direct-to-consumer environment;
  7. Managing requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation processes to capture stakeholder needs;
  8. Proficiency utilizing reporting and analytics functionality in Salesforce; and
  9. Developing effective and concise written reports and presenting on them to senior level stakeholders to communicate key findings and recommendations to support data driven and evidence-based decision making.


QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Analytics, Business Administration, Statistics or other quantitative field and one [1] year of experience in the job offered or related role.

Base Pay Information

The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.

Pay Grade 22. $116,200.00 - $174,300.00
