What We'll Bring:

The Sales VP will lead TransUnion's Marketing Solutions sales teams, while reporting directly the VP, Sales - Diversified Markets. This role that is responsible for developing and leading the Marketing Solutions sales team, implementing the company's go-to-market strategy across its geographic footprint, and maximizing new business opportunities.

What You'll Bring:

  • As the leader of the marketing solutions sales team, you will be responsible for the growth of our business within our Diversified Markets vertical
  • Develop the Industry Engagement approach as a critical component of the overall Account Engagement Plan (AEPs) to develop and expand our business among Retail, Travel & Hospitality, QSR and Technology customers
  • Coach and develop the team of individual sellers responsible for the sales pursuits supporting all stages of the sales opportunity lifecycle. This includes: Primary buyer contact; relationship / opportunity development; preparation and delivery of sales presentations; contract negotiations; and successful hand off to the account management team
  • Partner with TransUnion Diversified Markets vertical sales team, Marketing Solutions team, Product Marketing, Solutions Consulting, etc. to establish and execute on Go to Market strategies to advance TransUnion's business and reputation in the market.
  • Collect, interpret and share market, customer and competitive intelligence concerning Adtech/Martech trends and mitigation solutions
  • Promote communication, team building, personal development, customer directed innovation and other traits to project and strengthen the culture of the company
  • Extensive experience selling complex data-driven marketing, identity and analytics solutions to large enterprise accounts.
  • Proven track record of success in building and transforming sales teams to a top-performing, high-end, consultative and insight-led model.
  • Demonstrated success in high end solution and consultative selling, working directly with enterprise customers and making C-level sales of complicated B2B information solutions.
  • Understanding of issues in the verticals, platform and AdTech/Martech landscape required; a network of executive contacts and key relationships within the CMO persona.
  • Demonstrated enterprise sales discipline through experience in setting, monitoring, and measuring strategic sales goals and priorities; knowledge and use of next generation sales management tools such as salesforce.com and sales methodology like Franklin Covey.
  • Possess exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills to establish credibility and trust with customers and build relationships with business partners.
  • Desire to work in a fast paced matrix and highly dynamic environment required.
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA is a plus.

Pay Scale Information : The U.S. base salary range for this position is $113,000.00 - $178,000.00 annually. This position is eligible for both base pay and commission earnings. TransUnion commission targets are generally 20% - 50% of base salary and may vary based on position. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
