JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a Planner/Scheduler to join our Production Control team at NH Ball Bearings. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the planning of a product line to support the demands of our business and coordinating the flow of materials and product through to shipping to our customers. Your good communication skills will be used to collaborate with other departments and teams throughout the plant, to ensure the smooth scheduling, planning and expediting of our products.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinates production planning workflow for one or multiple products.
  • Reviews monthly build plan and creates/schedules work orders to manufacturing floor.
  • Prepares/updates daily, weekly and monthly production, sales and inventory reports.
  • Collaborates with team for optimal utilization of production capacities, remedying inventory errors and resolution of scheduling conflicts.
  • Process MDR's and DMR's to ensure continuous product flow.

JOB SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word and Excel), and good computer literacy.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
  • Very good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with all levels of the company and external clients; written and/or verbally.
  • Previous experience using MRP software.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in manufacturing, with a minimum of two (2) years production planning or scheduling experience preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of manufacturing of production control experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physically able to sit for prolonged periods of time. Must also be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, grab, twist, carry, push and pull as required to carry out job functions.
  • Must be able to physically lift up to 40lbs, when necessary.
