The Pitching Coach will be responsible for the oversight, instruction, and development of the pitching staff for our NECBA development team (fall) and NCAA team (winter/spring). Working closely with the Head Coaches of the NECBA and NCAA teams and the rest of the coaching staff, the Pitching Coach will play a key role in practice planning, game strategy, pitcher development, and fostering a positive, team-first culture. This is a part-time position. The qualified candidate will design and lead pitching sessions during practices and games for the development team (Fall) and NCAA team (winter/spring). Monitor and support pitcher development, including mechanics, arm care, velocity, command, and mental approach. Collaborate with coaching staff to develop game plans and scouting reports. Ensure compliance with all NECBA, NCAA Division III, NAC, and Thomas College rules and guidelines. Must have collegiate playing or coaching experience with a primary focus on pitching. Must have a strong understanding of pitching mechanics, player development techniques, and injury prevention. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and travel. Commitment to the values of Division III athletics and the mission of Thomas College.
