Overview: We are hiring multiple Entry-Level Cable Technicians to support a large-scale data center infrastructure buildout. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in structured cabling and fiber optics while working alongside experienced technicians and team leads. What You'll Do: As a Cable Technician, you'll assist in building out the cable infrastructure across the data center. Your responsibilities will include: * Pulling and routing Cat5/Cat6 and fiber optic cables * Installing cable trays, pathways, and server racks * Learning and applying color codes, punch-down, and fiber termination techniques * Supporting technicians with grounding, fire-stopping, and device termination * Following blueprints and completing all required documentation accurately and on time * Adhering to all safety and quality standards Client-Specific Tasks Include: * Drop and route cable using fish tape or other methods * Perform pre-termination procedures: organize, dress, label, and measure cable * Install grounding for racks and equipment * Execute fire-stopping procedures and pull cable through sleeves * Terminate low-voltage devices * Complete timesheets, work orders, and material transfers * Follow all safety and quality regulations * Perform other duties as assigned Top Skills We're Looking For: * Cable pulling and installation (Cat5, Cat6, fiber) * Structured cabling knowledge * Familiarity with cable trays, J-hooks, D-rings, and server rack assembly What You Bring: * A strong work ethic and willingness to learn * Punctuality and a team-first attitude * Flexibility to work extended hours (10-12 hour shifts, up to 6 days/week if needed) Why Join Us? * On-the-job training with experienced professionals * Opportunity to grow into advanced technical roles * Be part of a high-impact project with long-term potential Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
