*Top Skills' Details* 1. 4+ Years of Experience in PowerShell Core (v7+) scripting for cross-platform automation 2. 4+ Years Experience in Ansible (Writing custom Ansible modules in PowerShell) 3. REST API Integrations Strong understanding of RESTful principles, HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE), status codes, and authentication mechanisms (Bearer, Basic Auth, OAuth). Open to direct placement for the right candidate - $160-180K Contract to hire as well - 6 month contract to hire Our client is looking to bring on a PowerShell automation consultant to support their largest end client. The director is over the distributed compute and storage services teams. They recently took on the compute functionalities and looking to bring on an automation engineer to continue to grow that skillset and provide some relief in that area as they only have one other programmer supporting. The team is focused on infrastructure integration and automation, tying systems together, building the "nuggets" between different platforms that they don't natively have to make sure everything functions the way it should. Definitely want someone with a DevOps mindset as they are trying to build that into the team as well. Familiarity with code scanning is major plus. Ex: Looking to remove old "artifacts" in the environment. Understand what are systems that track or manage those things today and talk to the right stakeholders/SMEs to understand how these systems are structured within the environment to be able to accomplish what they want to do. Tech Stack: PowerShell and Ansible - knowledge in infrastructure on-prem and otherwise - Dell vs Cisco not a problem - familiarity with API's - workflow automation to not just work as a script but as a larger service in the environment - interact with logging/ITIL systems *Skills* Automation, PowerShell, Ansible, RestAPI, API, Automated testing *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Remote - prefers this individual to sit in Eastern Time Zone or Central - will be working Eastern Time Zone times as end client is based in Philadelphia and Connecticut *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
