Supervisor, Warehouse and Distribution

Onsite Middleton, WI role for Day shift

Great opportunity to work in our Headquarters and largest North American site leading daily warehousing activities. Primary tasks include receiving, maintaining inventory and supplies, and preparing shipments for delivery through direct leadership over a small team (10-12). In addition,you will drive the hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, etc. for your team to ensure they have the tools and support needed to function at a high level while remembering to have fun too!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clear work direction and prioritize daily and weekly departmental tasks to meet evolving customer delivery demands.
  • Promote cross-functional teamwork and collaboration across all work centers.
  • Optimize workforce utilization while upholding high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Quality System procedures, maintaining compliance with ISO, FDA, and other regulatory requirements to deliver exceptional service to customers.
  • Monitor, document, and evaluate employee performance, collaborating with the department manager to complete performance reviews.
  • Offer insights and recommendations to leadership regarding strategic initiatives and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Manage and control inventory accuracy through cycle counts, variance reconciliation, data input, and correction.
  • Take ownership of On-Time Delivery metrics, implementing necessary adjustments to consistently meet goals.
  • Perform supervisory duties in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or 1+ years of relevant experience in a Team Lead or Junior Supervisor role
  • Preferred training includes: Forklift Certification, Hazardous Battery Shipments, and Lean Principles
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and manufacturing systems
  • Proven ability to lead operations and effectively coordinate daily activities
  • Committed to hands-on staff training and promoting innovative solutions
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and their application in warehouse environments
  • Ability to work independently while demonstrating strong leadership to support team development
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and warehouse-related software applications
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well within and across teams

Travel Requirement: 10-15%
