WHAT WILL YOU DO
JOB PROFILE:
The Energy Tech Coordinator is responsible for the efficient operation and readiness of all Energy Rental equipment, including associated inventory, minor repair tasks, logistics, and customer service. This hands-on role involves preparing equipment for rental, managing inventory-including ancillary gear like spider boxes, panels, and cabling-overseeing the check-in/check-out process, coordinating deliveries and pickups, scheduling external shipments, and providing after-hours call-out support as required.
Responsibilities:


  • Prepare energy rental equipment for deployment, ensuring that all equipment meets safety, operational, and appearance standards before rental.
  • Perform minor make-ready repairs and maintenance to ensure equipment is fully functional and rental-ready.
  • Manage yard inventory of all energy-related assets, including ancillary gear (e.g., spider boxes, panels, cabling), tracking their status and location to minimize downtime and maximize utilization.
  • Oversee and perform check-in and check-out procedures for equipment entering or leaving the yard, maintaining accurate and timely records.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and execute delivery and pickup of rental equipment as needed, occasionally operating vehicles for transport.
  • Schedule external shipping for equipment requiring off-site transport, ensuring timely and cost-effective logistics.
  • Respond to nightly call-out duties as scheduled or as required, delivering exceptional support and service outside of standard business hours.
  • Promote and ensure compliance with safety standards and standard operating procedures at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, sales teams, and management to ensure a smooth rental process and high customer satisfaction.

Basic Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school training preferred.
  • At least two years' experience working with electrical equipment, warehouse/inventory operations, or logistics is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform minor equipment repairs.
  • Proficiency in the use of inventory management systems and standard office software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights as needed.
