Are you an experienced insurance office manager, sales team leader, or agency operations director with a strong background in recruiting, training, and marketing? We’re hiring a strategic and hands-on Office Manager to oversee all aspects of production, team growth, and lead generation for a high-performing team of licensed insurance agents in the Troy area. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has managed an insurance agency or district office and is ready to make an impact with a growing organization.
This is a local leadership role based in Troy, Michigan. The manager will work both in and out of the office, supporting agents in the field while maintaining strong oversight of office operations.
What You'll Be Responsible For

Recruitment and talent acquisition: Proactively source, interview, and onboard licensed producers in Auto, Homeowners, Life, and Commercial Insurance

Agent training and coaching: Develop high-performing producers through structured onboarding, product training, and ongoing sales coaching

Insurance marketing strategy: Improve existing local marketing campaigns and launch new digital marketing initiatives to drive traffic, leads, and brand awareness

Customer service and retention: Resolve escalated client concerns, retain high-value policyholders, and ensure positive customer experiences

Sales performance and metrics: Monitor office production, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and align recruiting and marketing efforts with monthly goals

Lead generation vendor management: Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party lead vendors to ensure cost-effective and quality lead flow
Required Qualifications

3 to 5 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably in a management, agency, or recruiting role

Strong background in insurance sales, marketing coordination, or licensed producer recruitment

Proven leadership and performance coaching experience in a sales-driven environment

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce, Agency Bloc, or Hub Spot, and standard office tools

Active Property and Casualty or Life license preferred, or prior licensure/agency background
