Major Areas of Accountability:



  • Manage manufacturing and/or production operations including assembly, machinery, processing and/or packaging.
  • Set production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, materials supply, staffing resources, and volume required to meet demand and to ensure maximum production quantity and quality.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical).
  • Evaluate and recommend equipment improvements to improve availability, capability and yield.
  • Perform equipment analyses (including preventative and unscheduled maintenance).
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems.
  • Prepare technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures.
  • Work within defined technical processes and procedures or methodologies and may help determine the appropriate approach for new assignments.
  • Work with a limited degree of supervision, with oversight focused only on complex new assignments
  • Perform highly complex and varied tasks and atypical assignments.
  • Guide and support other team members; To include assisting in their formal orientation and training.



Required Qualifications:



  • Education: 2 Year Technical/associate's degree in science, Math, Engineering, Semi-Conductor Manufacturing or a related discipline or equivalent military training / work experience.


  • Experience:


    • 10+ years of semiconductor equipment maintenance experience
    • Advanced knowledge in the Etch area (LAM Alliance 4520/9400, LAM 2300Exelan, TEL Unity M/ME, AMAT DPS, Mattson Aspen II)
