The Team The Human Resources team takes on complex challenges supporting the mission of the Gates Foundation around the globe. You'll work alongside a diverse group of HR professionals who are passionate about creating an excellent employee experience, providing client-focused solutions, and implementing consistent and equitable people practices.The HR Business Analyst (HRBA) team sits within the HR team in the Business Operations division and provides traditional analysis services to our fellow HR and Payroll teams. Our team performs business analysis activities including process documentation and improvement, requirements elicitation and documentation, participation in system design, requirements management, user acceptance testing facilitation and support, and system documentation. Additionally, our team is expected to work on multiple assignments concurrently, drive small to midsize projects, and occasionally provide 2nd or 3rd tier support for production issues. Our team works directly with other HR and Payroll teams, and there is a large opportunity to influence HR process & technology strategy through these interactions. All roles on this team demand a problem-solving, analytical mindset, with great organization and attention to detail. This role provides Business Analysis skills and services to other HR and Payroll teams. A large part of the role is focused on understanding the business needs for HR run-of-business events, translating those needs into process and system requirements, and working with HR & partner IT teams to build, test, and deploy changes to processes and systems. At times this role might also perform light project management duties. A successful candidate for this role is able to work on 1-2 small/medium items concurrently, while also providing ongoing 2nd tier support for other HR users. You are required to be knowledgeable and have an understanding of HR business processes and know how to work within HR applications (e.g., a suite of applications, inclusive of, but not limited to, Workday) to optimize those processes. *This position is a limited-term position for 36months. Your Experience
*Must be able to legally work in the country where this position is located without visa sponsorship. The salary range for this role is $105,400 to $158,000 USD. We recognize high-wage market differences in Seattle and Washington D.C., where our offices are located. The range for this role in these locations is $114,900 to $172,300 USD. As a mission-driven organization, we strive to balance competitive pay with our mission. New hires salaries are typically between the range minimum and the salary range midpoint. Actual placement in the range will depend on a candidate's job-related skills, experience, and expertise, as evaluated during the interview process.
