What IT Client Services contributes to Cardinal Health
Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.

IT Client Services provides Tier 1-3 virtual and physical support to the organization's end users for software, hardware, conference room technology and meeting support, warehouse technology, server, network, and enterprise systems issues. Frequently responding to escalated issues from the IT Service Center family, this job family resolves user requests through discussions with users and coordination with internal and external resources and provides education and trainings to users to facilitate knowledge transfer and prevent problem reoccurrence. IT Client Services also maintains ownership for certain end user productivity platforms and capabilities, such as virtual environments and collaboration toolsets, and addresses service outages. This job family acquires, installs and upgrades PC components and software, while also performing asset management for software and hardware.

As a key member of our team, you will be the face of IT for our corporate headquarters, providing walk-up technical support and resolving a wide range of hardware and software issues. You will not only be assisting clients with their immediate technical needs but also contributing to important IT projects that enhance the overall user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional walk-up technical support at our IT Clinic,resolving hardware and software issues for Cardinal Health employees
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skillsto effectively interact with clients face-to-face, understand their needs, and provide clear and concise solutions
  • Multitask effectively and quickly switch between workstreamsto address a variety of client requests and project tasks
  • Collaborate closely with team membersto ensure consistent and high-quality support
  • Work tasks and incidentsin a timely manner, adhering to service level agreements
  • Support IT projects, including software remediation and coordinating computer replacements through our tech refresh program
  • Install, remove, and configure hardware and software
  • Partner with end users, technology teams, and vendors to resolve incidents and fulfill requests
  • Prioritize effectively and escalate issues as needed
  • Maintain asset management records
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment

Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of experience in a desktop support or IT client services role, preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • A+ Certification or equivalent, preferred
  • Experience with ITIL framework, preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients
  • Extroverted personality with a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a face-to-face environment, preferred
  • Proven ability to multitask effectively and manage competing priorities
  • Strong command of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
  • Comfortable with Windows and iOS operating systems
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Anticipated hourly range:$27.00 per hour - $38.69 per hour
