The Constellation Furyk & Friends is an official tournament on PGA TOUR Champions and presently has an opportunity for a Partnerships Manager position based in Jacksonville, FL. This position will report to the event's Tournament Director and will directly contribute to tournament sales efforts by generating revenue through hospitality packages, Pro-Am and sponsorship sales. Ideal candidates will be individuals with a sales-focused career path who are relentless in their pursuit of revenue generation. A proven track record of sales and a network of relationships that can be converted to tournament clients will be vital.
Responsibilities:
  • Successfully drive revenue through the sale of tournament assets
  • Develop a robust pipeline and manage weekly sales activities including outbound calls, in-person appointments,
  • Contracts and networking functions
  • Work with tournament team including volunteer committee to achieve tournament revenue objectives
  • Identify and create new revenue opportunities for the tournament
  • Ability to effectively utilize CRM to track, measure, analyze and report sales activities
  • Assist with fulfillment of contracted benefits for partners including hospitality, Pro-Am and sponsorship
  • Engage clients throughout the year and gain a true understanding of their business
  • Work collaboratively with all aspects of organization to ensure best client experience
  • Attend various community and charitable functions as a representative of the tournament
  • Support all foundation events throughout the year both from a financial and operational perspective
  • Support the core mission of the Jim & Tabitha Furyk Foundation

Qualified candidates will have the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Sales, Marketing or related field
  • Minimum of two (2) years of sales experience
  • Experience in planning and executing events preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to create customize, dynamic visual presentations
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Self-discipline with schedule and time management
  • Organization, attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to stand for lengthy periods of time and to lift/move boxes weighing 30 pounds or more
