Position Summary: The College Savings Operations Quality Control Analyst is responsible for monitoring the quality of data input for all of College Savings Group. Responsible for the review, analysis, and completion of fraud review.

Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM

Essential Functions:



  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of all department policies, government regulations, and compliance requirements involving Section 529 College Savings Plans.
  • Complete quality control review of all newly established accounts, maintenance changes and financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance. Maintain department accuracy and productivity requirements.
  • Responsible for the generation and monitoring of transactional fraud reports that includes ACH, Wire, Check, and New Account Fraud. Recommends fraud prevention measures that keep up with the future trends in potential fraud situations within the College Savings Group. Responds accordingly to minimize risk and notifies the appropriate levels of management.
  • Monitor and provide analysis on types of corrections and determine if training opportunities exist to prevent them. Communicate findings with CSG officers, managers, and supervisors.
  • Establish and maintain effective oral and written communication with CSG Teams to ensure all are properly informed of positive and negative feedback.
  • Serve as back-up for all College Savings Group operational duties; including but not limited to processing of incoming and outgoing mail, enrollments forms, contributions, withdrawals, transfers, and investment changes.
  • Fostering a 'Team' approach within all areas of the 529 Group.
  • Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws, and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training: follow internal processes and controls as required.
  • Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.
  • One year 529 College Savings experience strongly preferred.
  • Quality Control experience preferred.
  • Meet 90% on Numeric Proofreading and 80% Reply Letter testing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and in working with other financial software.
