Quality Control Specialist

Tessera is seeking a dedicated and reliable Quality Control Specialist with a professional attitude. Typical duties include but are not limited to:
- The position spends time in and out of the office reviewing work, performing quality control inspections of services discussing quality levels with supervisors and ensuring that all problem areas are identified and corrected in a timely manner.
- Perform and document daily inspection results utilizing the inspection program and/or forms, as applicable. Inspection types can include, but are not limited to pre, in-progress, and final inspections of: Concrete Work, Roofing Repairs & Replacements, Fire Alarm & Fire Suppression Maintenance, Generator & Air Compressor PM's, Crane Inspections, Elevator & Lift Maintenance, HVAC Services, Grounds, Landscaping, General Construction, HVAC, Cracks and Crevices, Painting, Electrical, Recycling, Plumbing, and Overhead Doors. Ensure all project and preventative maintenance requirements are met.
- Prepare and submit all required reports daily, weekly and monthly.
- Update and maintain assigned quality control folders on Quality Skynet Drive daily.
- Review, update and maintain a listing of building/ facility for area of responsibilities as needed.
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships in any interactions with customers, employees and management while performing duties.
- Prepare and submit required and requested reports on time. Ensure all reports are clear, concise, and comprehensive.
- Monitor and identify problematic trends with the customer satisfaction and customer complaints, initiate corrective action plans as required.
- Assists the Quality ISO Manager in developing a wide variety of employee skills to deliver efficient, effective, and thorough quality control reports.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with customers, be efficient and timely.
- Maintain professionalism in both appearance and demeanor.
- Review project and preventative work for standards and specification of work requirements.
- Cross training in all areas and locations.
- Conduct inspections of work environment to ensure All Hazards Analysis requirements are met.
- Participate in new hire training and Quality Control Question and Answer Sessions with the divisions.
- Adhere to ISO Processes and Standards and ensure all SOPs and ISO processes are meeting contractual guidelines. Ability to perform ISO Audits for both divisional and corporate level processes.
- Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles, and work areas.
- All mentioned duties are performed with moderate supervision.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Quality preferred.
- Knowledge of or experience in Quality are preferred.
- Experience in Construction or Facilities preferred.
Physical Requirements: Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. - Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
- Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
- Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
Requirements:
- A valid state driver's license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance.
