Are you passionate about pushing boundaries of what's possible? We are committed to technological innovation and excellence in everything we do. KEMET, a YAGEO Group company, is seeking an Events and Marketing Coordinator in our Simpsonville, SC location. This is an onsite role.

This detail-oriented coordinator will be expected to own end-to-end logistics, keep every deadline on track, and make sure each show floor or distributor event runs flawlessly.

Key Responsibilities



  • Own the US events calendar - exhibitions, distributor meetings, roadshows and any customer-facing company event.
  • Project-manage every detail - venue contracts, vendor quotes, booth builds, freight, graphics production, hotel blocks, catering, badge registration, on-site services.
  • Timeline & budget control - create Gantt/critical-path schedules and track spend vs. approved budget; surface variances early.
  • Brand guardianship on site - ensure booths, signage and collateral meet brand guidelines; coordinate with design team so graphics are ready on time.
  • Show-time execution - be on-site (or remote-support) to handle last-minute hiccups and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Post-event debrief - gather metrics (leads, traffic, costs), summarize lessons learned, and recommend optimizations.
  • MarCom support between events - help update brochures, proofread assets, coordinate shipments, and pitch in on any day-to-day marketing tasks the team needs.


Education and Experience



  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing or related field.


Required Qualifications:



  • 3+ years' hands-on experience in event coordination, trade-show logistics or experiential marketing.
  • Superb organizational skills and relentless attention to detail; nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Working knowledge of basic marketing-communications workflows (collateral updates, asset proofing, vendor management).
  • Comfortable juggling multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Eligibility to travel within the US (and occasionally internationally, if needed).


Preferred:



  • Experience with B2B industrial or electronics events.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud or similar for quick graphic tweaks.
  • Prior exposure to marketing automation (HubSpot, Marketo) or CRM lead-capture workflows.
  • Spanish or Mandarin language skills.
