Moore County Appraisal District CHIEF APPRAISER Applicants must have a Registered Professional Appraiser (RPA) certification from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Other desired qualifications include a college education, prior Chief Appraiser experience, and management experience. The Chief Appraiser will be responsible for overseeing all real and business personal property appraisals within Moore County, ensuring all appraisals are fair, accurate, and compliant with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). The role also includes managing appraisal staff, assisting local taxpayers with property appeals, and providing public resources related to property data.
