Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Specialty Infusion Full Time Days

Newly created position within Henry Ford Health or infusion. It is exciting as infusion is rapidly growing and unique because it is going to include hands-on care for peds patients but also administrative duties to help the infusion department grow with outside referrals.

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will be working with Pediatric patients, overseeing infusion needs/emergent situations, communicating with outside providers and facilitating outside referrals, transcribing orders as required.
• Hours will be 730a-4pm or 8-430pm
• APP needs to be available to work at Henry Ford Hospital- Detroit and clinics in Novi, Taylor and Bloomfield Township
• The PA or NP will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
• The APP will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, consultation, and care coordination as a first line provider to patients and their families.
• Provides inpatient and/or outpatient medical care.
• Works in collaboration with attending physicians, advanced practice providers, consultants, house officers, nurses, and other members of the medical care team to ensure that patient outcomes are achieved safely and efficiently.
• Specific procedures as per credentialing as indicated by training and experience.
• APP needs to be a team player, heavily involved with infusion staff and other providers; great communication skills, drive to help improve and gain efficiencies with workflows
