Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Job Description As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in providing sales support to our customers and sales representatives. This includes tasks such as expediting, quoting, order taking, restocking, and troubleshooting problems. This is not a typical customer service role with continuous calls; instead, you will handle custom orders and address client-specific questions, requiring collaboration with other departments like engineering and warehouse. Initially, you will start as an Order Processing Representative, focusing on data entry while learning our systems and product lines. You will work with Outlook, Excel, and SAP. Responsibilities * Provide sales support by expediting, quoting, and taking orders. * Restock items and troubleshoot customer problems. * Handle custom orders and client-specific inquiries. * Collaborate with engineering and warehouse departments as needed. * Perform data entry as an Order Processing Representative. * Utilize Outlook, Excel, and SAP in daily tasks. Essential Skills * Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service or order entry. * Analytical thinking and ability to learn technical product knowledge. * Positive attitude. * Typing speed of 45 words per minute. * Strong computer skills. * Excellent attention to detail. * High School Diploma. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Four-year college degree. * Experience with SAP. * 2-4 years of experience in technical customer service. * Familiarity with the power transmission industry. * Interest in technical activities outside of work (e.g., car mechanic, farmer). * Bilingual in English and Spanish. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waunakee, Wisconsin. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.53 - $22.53/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
