The PC Refresh Technician is responsible for the deployment, configuration, and replacement of desktop and laptop computers across the organization. This role ensures that end users receive updated hardware and software in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing downtime and maintaining productivity.
Key Responsibilities: * Coordinate and execute the refresh of end-user devices including desktops, laptops, monitors, and peripherals. * Image and configure new devices using standard operating procedures and tools (e.g., SCCM, MDT, Autopilot). * Backup and restore user data during device transitions. * Decommission and properly dispose of or return old equipment following company policies. * Provide deskside support to users during refresh activities, including troubleshooting hardware/software issues. * Maintain accurate inventory records and update asset management systems. * Collaborate with IT support teams to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations. * Document procedures and update knowledge base articles as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications: * Experience with Windows OS (10/11), device imaging, and deployment tools. * Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and remote support tools. * Strong customer service and communication skills. * Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed. * Attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
