Job Title: Network Administrator (Contract - 6 Months) Work Type: Hybrid (3-4 days in office per week) Experience Level: Intermediate Job Description: We are looking for a skilled and proactive Network Administrator to join our team on a 6-month contract. This role involves supporting and maintaining network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, and collaborating with internal and external teams to resolve connectivity and communication issues. Key Responsibilities: * Implement equipment installation plans based on network specifications. * Monitor and maintain network firewalls, routers, and security software. * Troubleshoot network and wireless connectivity issues. * Maintain and support the company phone system in coordination with service providers. * Update and maintain network documentation and submit weekly change summaries. * Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure network uptime and performance. Mandatory Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field. * Solid understanding of networking or voice fundamentals. * Ability to manage and configure network, voice, or security equipment. * Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Preferred Certifications: * CompTIA Network+ or VOIP certifications. * Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) or similar networking certifications. Additional Details: * Candidates must be able to work onsite 3-4 days per week. * Possibility of contract extension or conversion to full-time employment. Top Skills: * Network engineering and security fundamentals. * Strong communication skills, especially with technical terminology. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.14 - $46.42/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
