This position is funded for 1 year(s); continuation past 1 year(s) will be based on university need, performance, and/or availability of funding.POSITION SPECIFICS The Beat Childhood Cancer Research Consortium at the Penn State College of Medicine, Hershey, PA, is hiring a full-time Clinical Trial Regulatory Manager. The Beat Childhood Cancer Research Consortium (BCC) is an international clinical research sponsor and acts as a Contract Research Organization (CRO) of a network of 50+ hospitals across the US and Canada that participate in BCC's investigator-initiated clinical trials. This position supports clinical trial research across these 50+ hospital sites on 10+ clinical trials and has a specialized focus on regulatory compliance, study-start up activities, and regulatory document collection and maintenance. This position will organize and conduct compliance risk identification, inspection, and reporting; develop and implement preventative measures and internal controls as well as oversee the day-to-day regulatory operations for our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in experience working with central and Institutional Review Boards (cIRB/IRB), GCP, and FDA IND requirements. It is important that the candidate have experience working with a team, multiple Principal Investigators, and Phase I/II clinical trial projects. The candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to multi-task while fostering an environment of collaboration and teamwork. This is a remote position with some required travel (up to quarterly; likely bi-annual) per year. This position is expected to have one direct report. MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS If filled as Research Project Manager - Senior Professional, this position requires: Master's Degree 6+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: None If filled as Research Project Manager - Advanced Professional, this position requires: Master's Degree 3+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: NoneBACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
