Title: Qualified Medication Administration Personnel (QMAP)

Location: Wheat Ridge Regional Center, CO 81501

Duration: 6+ months

Mode: Onsite

Shift: Thu, Fri Sat 7:00 pm to 7:00 am / Sun, Mon, Tue 7:00 pm to 7:00 am / Sun, Mon, Tue 7:00 am to 7:00 pm

Pay: $26.50/hr

Job Description:

  • Proper cross-shift report (oral and written).
  • Daily documentation-communication log.
  • 15-minute check forms (for those that applies to and why).
  • Review and sign program books, medical protocols, rights restrictions, SCP- privacy, telephone etc.
  • Visitor log.
  • COVID-19 Screening.
  • Staff mail folders
  • Check Email daily on your shift during down time.
  • Sign Me Book- review weekly at a minimum/ Cornerstone training weekly.


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Resident safety and care, active treatment , running ISSP's, cleaning (areas, kitchen, bedrooms, laundry rooms, closets, dressers etc.), throwing trash and laundry.
  • Encourage/teach the residents to be involved as much as possible- chores, ADL's, activities, interaction, Cooking, location of dietary sheets, alternate choices, encourage family style dining (quick overview, covered in depth by dietician) (Follow COVID Guidelines)
  • Proper procedure for peri care, attends changing (male or female)- see below.
  • Proper procedure for showering/bathing/haircare/shaving/nail care/toothbrushing/drying (in between toes, etc.) individuals. Document all refusals or issues. Disinfect bathtub/shower (chairs, floors) in between baths, do not leave attends in the trash
  • Notify nursing of Skin integrity issues.
  • Ensuring individuals are dressed weather appropriately (including beanies, gloves, sunscreen etc.) Also dress nicely - matching clothing, hairstyles, makeup if wanted, belts.
  • Outings/shopping/signing receipts, ensuring staff take a PRC cell phone.
  • Reporting maintenance issues/documenting.
  • Reporting special work orders to RC.
  • Picking up/dropping off house mail.
  • Running medical appointments.
  • General overview of group leader duties/assigned areas of house.
  • Putting away groceries/warehouse supplies.
  • Resident inventory, marking clothing with residents' initials, adding items, quarterly review, proper procedure for discarding items


Mandatory Requirements:

  • Candidates should have medical experience. Certification/ licensing is required.
